Calculating the required number of pavers:
Measure the area to be paved. To determine the number of pavers required, multiply the area by the paver unit size. Paver sizes are as follows:
BRICK: 4"x8"x2 3/8"= 4.40
TRI-HEX: 3 5/8x3 5/32 x7 5/16 = 4.00
For example, if your area to be paved is 5' in length by 6' in width, your brick paver amount will be found by multiplying 4.40 by the area. (5'x6'=30') 30'x4.40 = 132 paver.
Mortar Quantities: No mortar is required betweent joints - just sand.
Add to Paver Amount: 5% to 10% should be added to all quantities for breakage, spillage and errors.
